What I love about Japan most is their drugstores, I could spend an entire day going to one store after another without getting bored because there are so many things to look at. To make things easier, I've categorized into three categories; makeup, skincare, and haircare.

MAKEUP

  • Bausch + Lomb ReNu Fresh Color MultiPurpose Solution
  • PienAge Luxe (Mellow)
  • PienAge Luxe (Mirage)
  • DUP Eyelashes (Secret Line Air #935)
  • Decorative Eyelash (Innocent Wink #102)
  • SUGAO Cream Eyeshadow (Shell Pink)
  • SUGAO Cream Eyeshadow (Rose Pink)
One of my resolution this year is to try on coloured contact lenses and since it was on sale too, about 400yen off I decided to get 2 boxes of PienAge contact lenses. I was going to get more but am afraid that I wouldn't be using it at all so I decided to go with just two and the same goes for falsies, I still have 3 boxes of falsies in my drawer and has yet to use it.

  • Kanebo Japan Media Makeup Eyebrow Pencil (DB)
  • Kanebo Japan Media Makeup Eye Liner Pencil (BR)
  • Kate Sharp Lock Gel Pencil (BR)
  • Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner (Dark Brown #02)
  • Cezanne Two Color Eye Shadow Lame Series (Coral Brown #05)
  • Canmake Perfect Stylist Eyes (Sweet Flamingo #10)
  • Canmake Lasting Multi Eyebase WP
  • Canmake Lighting Liquid Eyes #2
  • Lovelid
I'm currently using the eyeliner by Kate so it's a repurchase as for Isehan KissMe Heroine liquid eyeliner it's well known for its eyeliner because it doesn't smudge that's why I got two. I'm used to using gel liner so... let's pray that I'll actually use this. I'm using the eyeshadow palette from Canmake almost every single day for now because the colour is very natural and can be used for an everyday makeup look. I totally regret getting the under eyes highlighter because I'm not really into it or it just takes time to get used to it like how I wasn't into eyeliner before and now I'm drawing it everyday except I only line my waterline for a more natural look?

  • Opera Tint Oil Rouge Lip Tint #05
  • Canmake Your Lip Only Gloss
  • Paul & Joe Lip Treatment Balm
  • Flowfushi Lip 38°c Lip Treatment Gloss +1°c
  • Flowfushi Lip 38°c Lip Treatment Gloss +3°c
  • SUGAO Chiffon Sense Powder (SPF23 PA +++)
  • Kose Lip Gel Magic
I'm in love with Flowfushi Lip +1! I don't like +3 and if I ever repurchase this product, I'll go for +1 only. SUGAO powder and Kose lip gel are products that I repurchased. The Paul & Joe lip treatment balm was bought due to its adorable packaging, a kitten-shaped head is revealed when you twist the balm up so how could ANYONE say no to it? I actually gave one to my mother and she has yet to use it and I asked her why to which she said, "If I use it then the kitten-shaped will be gone." pfft~

SKINCARE

  • Cure Natural Aqua Gel
  • Saborino Wake Up Sheet Morning Mask
  • Saborino Tired Night Mask
  • Panasonic Pore Cleanser EH 2513P
I've finally decided to pick up this exfoliator that was featured in many magazines. This item was also on my beauty wishlist for awhile too, but because I'm not a fan of using exfoliator I put it on hold. I've used it once so far so I can't really say anything about it yet. I'll probably post a review about it. Then there's the Saborino masks, another product that's highly-raved. Before getting these two, I tried the one that's red in packaging and I loathe it because of its scent that smells like the combination of cough syrup and bubble gum, yuck! I've tried both the morning and night mask and I say to anyone that's thinking of getting it, YES, GET IT! Especially the morning mask because I've really dry skin and no matter how much moisturizing product I put on my face it still gets dry and flakey whenever I apply my bb cushion on it, so yes, I've finally found the holy grail to my dry skin.

HAIRCARE

  • Panasonic Hair-Straigtener EH-HS99
  • Kao Cape Styling Hairspray
  • Moroccan Oil
  • Loretta Night Care Cream
  • Luvca Kushu-Kami Cream
  • Essential Smart Style Conditioner
  • Essential Smart Style Shampoo
  • Shampoo Samples: Ascience, Sowa Sowa
The MorrocanOil is a repurchase too, the first time I got it, I go for the travel pack which comes in two small bottles (different size). This is the only product that can tame my frizz, be it filled with silicone or not, I'm using this because I cannot live without it. The Essential shampoo and conditioner are another product that I tried before getting it, love its scent, and it can last up to a day, which I think is extremely good given its price is cheap as af, you just can't complain. Also got a bunch of shampoo and conditioner sample pack because I can't buy bottles of shampoo and conditioner back with me since I was travelling by myself and most of the Airbnb places that I rented don't have an elevator so I've to climb the stairs instead. The thought of it makes me shudder like I don't even know where I get that willpower (shopping) to drag two pieces of luggage with me going from one place to another.

  • LUSH Mask of Magnaminty
  • LUSH Skindrink
  • LUSH Breath of Fresh Air
  • LUSH Shampoo Bar (Montalbano)
  • LUSH Shampoo Bar (Godiva)
I'm surprised that I even picked up these much from Lush because I've never been a fan of it. Sure, it's organic and all but I don't know why it just doesn't appeal to me. Probably because of its packaging and some of the items there smells funny and Skindrink is one of it. It smells like a foot cream instead of a face cream but because it moisturizes my skin that is always thirsty, I've got no complaints. All you need is a pea-sized amount and your whole face will be covered so this can last a long time except that it is organic, the person advised me to finish using it within 3 months once I open it. Their shampoo bars smells strong, but after washing with it, the scent of the bar doesn't even last so it's quite disappointing. So far, I've tried Montalbano, I love, love, love the strong citrus scent. Its function is to clean the scalp leaving it squeaky clean but it does dry out the hair so if you're using this shampoo, do use it with a hair mask.

These are all the beauty products that I've picked up recently from Japan, it's not much but is more than enough for one face since the shelf life of beauty products doesn't last forever, oh how I wish they do. Which product are you interested in? Let me know and I'll post a review about it xx.

I found out about Yahoo Auctions! from FromJapan, and after browsing on there for a while, I decided to get a few things from there. The first item I got is a Liz Lisa brown plaid OP, and why is it that I don't have a picture of it? Well, long story short, I made a mistake with paying it using PayPal and ended up having to send it the address that's used on my PayPal account, which is why I don't have it with me right now.

Condition: New with tags

The next item I got is a LizMero check floral OP (Pink). There are quite a number of people on Yahoo Auctions selling this dress which comes in beige and pink in colour. There's also another dress in pink with the exact same design but without the florals. Just type in リズメロ in the search bar and you'll find it. I really love this dress, though I'd like it even more if the fabric that's being used for this dress is thinner as the weather in Malaysia is always hot and humid.

Condition: Used

I found it funny that I actually decided to bid for this preloved dress because I'm not a fan of getting used clothing but this dress is really cute and cheap so I decided to get it. There's a small stain on the zipper, but since it's on the inside of the dress, nobody will see it. After trying on the dress, it didn't look like how I'd imagined it to be. I'm thinking of taking it to a seamstress to get rid of the sleeves as I think it'd look better without it.

Condition: New with tags

When I first bid for these shoes, I had no idea it's from Yumetenbo. I got these for around the original price with all the shipping and other fees added to it. I was praying while I was trying on these shoes, hoping it would fit, and it did! But it's quite tight for me and when I tried to walk on it, it really does hurt my feet... I really love these shoes, but I guess I've to sell it off since there's no point in keeping shoes that don't fit. To anyone who's interested in buying these shoes from me, please go to my store.

Last but not least, a Liz Lisa fukubukuro!! Contents only. I've no idea which year this fukubukuro is from, but according to the seller, it's from several years ago; tried searching for it, but still can't find which fukubukuro it is from. There are 10 items in total—all new with tags on it—one scrunchy, one blanket, one dress, one coat, two tops, two bottoms, and a set of sleepwear. I decided to bid for it cause of the coat; the others, I've not much of a clue of what it was as the photos don't provide a full view of the items except the coat. I'm happy with all the things that I've got but because of the weather here, I've decided to sell some of those warmer pieces off. And the blanket afsghawekcxkmlka!! It's so pretty!!

I'm currently working on a beginner's guide to YJA! Once it's done. I'll be posting the link up here. Also, I'll be getting package from TKL soon!! It's currently on its way to the post office near my place. I'll probably just go pick up the package myself once it reaches!!

I've been crazy about shopping online these days and before I know it, I've gotten quite a bunch of stuff; mostly beauty products. I also placed another two orders from Althea after having my very first order from them because of the reasonable prices and their prompt delivery; sometimes it can be fast. The most recent order that I've made only took 5 days to arrived. Longest it can take is up to 10 days or more...

  • Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
  • Laneige Power Essential Skin Refiner
  • Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Pack
  • Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off
  • Wonderuci Light Light Eye Balm
  • Missha White Tea Lip & Tea Makeup Remover
  • The Saem Saemmuel Real Tint [#1 Red]
  • W. Lab Waterholic Lipstick [P2 Coral Pink]
  • W. Lab Sebum Out Finish Pact
  • Nature Republic Botanical Cream Concealer [21 Light Beige]
    • Celejois Care & Protect Treatment of Extra Quality For Damaged Hair
    • Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner [Dark Brown]
    • Canmake Cream Cheek [05]
    • Lululun 7 Days Sheet Mask [Fresh Clear & Balance Moisture]
These are the items that I asked my cousin to get it for me while she was in Japan. I actually listed more than these, but she wasn't able to find some of it and so... These are all I got. The hair mask is only available in Japan, I actually found out about it through this blog, I asked for the white one, but instead my cousin got me this, its function is to prevent split ends whereas the white one repairs damaged hair. The other beauty item that I got was featured in many Japanese magazines, the Lululun sheet masks. It's actually an impulse purchase because I am really lazy that sometimes most of the time I just wash my face with my facial cleanser and off I go to bed.

      • Mini Pleated Skirt
      • Mixxmix Replica Day & Night T-Shirts
      • High Waisted Denim Skirts
      • Shoulder Cross-Body Mini Handbag
      • Mini Backpack
Other than beauty products, I also ordered a few things from Taobao and Yahoo!奇摩拍賣. There has been a craze about these mini pleated skirts on Tumblr recently, and I thought it was really cute, so I decided to get it, unfortunately, it's too short for me that it barely covers my butt and soo.. I'll probably just give them away.
Even though the pleated skirts are a major letdown, these high waisted denim skirts I got are perfect! Well, for just 250NT I'd say it's perfect, even though it's a bit loose at the waist area, but I guess with it being loose, I can eat as much as I want while wearing this skirt without having to worry that I'd be feeling like somebody is squeezing the heck out of my abdomen while I'm gobbling down food.

That's pretty much everything from my latest purchase. Thanks for reading!!
I'll be posting some reviews about one of those beauty products that I got soon

      1. Nature Republic Skin Smoothing 3 Step Nose Pack Sheet
      2. Etude House CC Cream #2 Glow
      3. Banila Co. It Radiant CC Cream
      4. Petitfee Black Pearl and Gold Hydrogel Eye Patch
      5. Petitfee Gold & EGF Eye & Spot Patch
Korean skin care and cosmetics are the "thing" that has been going around for some time now, and you can see countless of Korean cosmetic/ skin care stores in Malaysia but unfortunately, the price got marked up twice when it's being sold in a physical store. I found out about this online store through my cousin and while I was browsing the site, like a million times because I doubt the authenticity of the product, I've finally came to the decision of getting a few items to test it out.

      PRICING:

In the very beginning, after seeing the price of the items sold in the site, I doubt its authenticity, but again, I knew the price of those products aren't the same as it is that's being sold in the stores in Malaysia. Besides, the creator of this online store had stated that his purpose of opening this online beauty store is to make k-beauty products more accessible to those who live outside of Korea. Oh! And there's the ACTIVE DEAL section, where deals such as; buy 1 free 1 or price reduction on certain items.

      PACKAGING:

When I received the parcel, it's wrapped in a pink plastic envelope bag, which got dirtied. I was expecting it to be nice and clean, but... I guess as long as the things inside of the box is fine, I'm good. Once I open it up, I see the light pink box being wrapped with a piece of bubble wrap. All the items inside the box were wrapped with bubble wrap as well and beneath those products was filled with small pieces of pink tracing paper.

      SHIPPING + DELIVERY

The cost of the shipping depends on the weight of the parcel, but while I was browsing on the online store, there's a promotion going on, by spending RM150 or above there'll be free shipping and I thought, why not, I might as well buy that much and get free shipping rather than paying that extra for nothing, but shipping itself. Tracking number was also provided to check the status (which is quite in detail) instead of checking the order status on the site that just says "processing/ delivered", which is another plus 1 for me.

      RATING:

Will I be buying from Althea again? Definitely! The only downside of it is that there's not much variety of products, but since Althea is fairly new, I guess I could expect seeing more new items being available in the near future? Will be keeping my fingers crossed.

The one thing that I'm really curious about is that when the package was its way to my house, will it be exposed to heat? Because, after all it's cosmetic/ skin care we're buying and it could affect the products if it's exposed to heat.
